Parks/Salyer

HISTORY

After discovering the Cactus Mine in the 1960’s by ASARCO, ASARCO spent years exploring along the Santa Cruz trend. The exploration revealed a classic copper-porphyry system running north-east, and south-west from the Cactus mine and over their Parks/Salyer property. A few drill hole programs were completed, exposing the same copper-porphyry signature, adjacent to the Cactus property and along trend. Historic reports indicate there could be potential for up to ~4 billion pounds of copper at the Parks/Salyer Property.

Elim purchased the property in 2019, with the intent to build out a mineral resource on the property, and eventually begin mining activities.

CURRENT STATUS & PERMITTING

As part of the decision process to acquire the Cactus Mine, the team assessed historic data on the Parks/Salyer Property.

As Elim conducts early-stage evaluation of the site, permitting activity will be defined at a later date.
